Brief

We were asked to do a preliminary task which bascially was to film a person opening the door, going across the room and sitting down on a chair opposite another character exchanging a few lines, we had to include like the 180 degree rule and reverse shots.

In our media class we've been asked to make a fiction film of our choice which should be 2minutes minium and 4minutes maximum,It can be any genre of our choice, we can only have four people in our group, but we can still use other people as characters in our film. The film has to have an opening title to introduce our film, we have to include the sort of camera shots in our film so that it shows we've understood how to use a camera properly for example things like 180 degree rule, cutaways, close-up's, medium shots and etc. we have to do original scrips and storyboards. In our group we decided that our film genre is going to be based on Drama/romance, our current title is 'Love is Hate' and our storyline is about a young girl of 16years old who comes from a strict background lives with her single mother ,her father comes and goes out of there life, she's just began college with her secoundary school love, and on her 17th birthday she finds out she's 6weeks pregnan,t from this point on she's confused and scared as she knows her mum will be furious with her, but that isn't the only thing she should be worried about as her so called high school love turns a blind eye on her and ditches her when he finds out she's pregnant. our film is going to have a open narrative so that it leaves our audience eager to know more. My concerns for our film is if our open narrative will work, if it would make our story better or if we should just give it a proper ending. Another one of my concerns are if the people in my group will be reliable and if there attitudes will change to do certain things which will lead us to get more actors instead of using people in our group.
Also that everyone in the group should be able to understand how to use the camera properly so that everyone can have a chance on filming and not only one person.
